The R22 was designed as a training aircraft, and no other helicopter comes close to serving this purpose better. The R22 is a two seat helicopter capable of cruising at 80 knots, and is the most cost effective way of learning the basics of flying a helicopter.
The R44 design is very impressive. A four seat version of the R22, it still maintains all the training benefits of the smaller R22 helicopter but also allows the pilot and three other passengers to travel quickly anywhere you wish. With a cruise speed in excess of 110 knots and a greater payload, the R44 has just as much capability as some more expensive turbine helicopters, without the expensive operating costs.
A classic helicopter designed in the mid 60's. This aircraft design has been updated and upgraded to current standards. A great workhorse of the skies, the Jet Ranger can accommodate one pilot and four passengers with luggage, and cruises at speeds in excess of 110 knots. For those wishing to develop their PPL licence further, the B206 is an easy turbine helicopter to understand and fly. It also has the best safety record of any other helicopter.
