Gift vouchers are available for Aeroplane flights in ½ hour, 1 hour or 2½ half hour lessons. Valid for three months and personally addressed, the trial lesson gift voucher is the perfect present for those wanting to experience the thrill of learning to fly.
The flight could be the initiation of a change of career, or you may simply want to participate for the sheer challenge and enjoyment of it. Whatever your intentions, it’s a great opportunity to learn the basics of how a Aeroplane operates, and actually take the controls and have a go!
Upon arriving at The Flight Centre you will be greeted by your flight instructor who will outline the format of the event and discuss your personal flight path. Your time in the air can be logged towards achieving your Private Pilots Licence, and upon completion you'll receive a certificate of achievement which brings to a close the event.

During the introductory day you will be shown how to navigate and some of the basic principles of working out your headings, track, drift angle, groundspeed & timings for each leg, and you'll also be introduced to the basic aerodynamic principles of flight. The session is split into two flights with a break for lunch and a total of 2 ½ hours flight time. As part of the day you are entitled to 10% off the value of food and drink orders for all the family at The Lancaster bar and restaurant.
